Roxell Richards has been a strong advocate in reaching the community with
legal information and fighting for the underserved and minority families. Her firm’s mission is to educate, inform, and serve the community while representing injured victims. With this mission in mind, she has developed and led several initiatives including free legal clinic, know your rights empowerment brunch, ask a lawyer happy hour, ask a lawyer podcast, as well as develop an innovative website which translates to just about any language spoken. She is not done there; her vision is to reach the next generation of law by making legal accessible. With her vision in tow, Ms. Richards started, “The Legal externship program in her firm.” A program which exposes upcoming law students, can gain college credit and learn the practice of injury law via externships. The program has been home to law clerks from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, University of Houston, and South Texas College of law who have received receive 6 hours credit with their college. She also works with several mental health organizations in advocating for mental health. As a businesswoman, skilled video and graphic designer, and after spending
thousands of dollars in marketing with “legal marketing companies, “Ms. Richards decided to hire her own inhouse marketing team of 12 people which is responsible for generating hundreds of leads per month. Her ability to create innovative marketing strategies is parallel to none as she and her team handles of hundreds of cases in her pre-litigation department. On June 28, 2023, Excell will expand to offer not only courses, but services to help business owners build and market their brand.

On her off time, Ms. Richards enjoys spending time with family, travel and
speaking.
